About
A first generation American, Diana was born in New York and raised in California. The daughter of an avionics mechanic from Sri Lanka and a Danish mother, Diana’s early childhood was filled with vast travel experiences, which exposed her to exotic lands and foreign cultures. Visits to France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Saudi Arabia and her mother’s native land of Denmark, among other places, had a huge impact on the way Diana views the world. And, how the world views Diana!
As a teenager, the multi-cultural beauty was crowned Miss Conejo Valley, Miss Ventura County and Miss California Oktoberfest. It was a taste of the limelight that Diana traces back to an on camera appearance on the highly popular “Romper Room” arranged by her mother when she was just four. While her mother tragically passed on when Diana was five, it was her mother’s vision that helped to set the young Diana on her course.
As a reigning beauty queen, her on camera abilities soon landed her the chance to host the highly popular show “Star Search” as a spokesmodel. She was quickly snapped up by the hungry advertising world and has since graced several high profile television commercials. Not just a beauty but a talented singer and dancer, Diana was soon singing and dancing her way around the world, touring on stage and filling up her passport with more stamps! To date, Diana has had the pleasure of visiting over 25 countries.
In the middle of it all, Diana was honored with several scholarships such as the coveted Screen Actors Guild John L. Dales Scholarship. She graduated Cum Laude with departmental honors in Communication Arts from California Lutheran University.
